This album started as a collaborative projective between me, Rose Rred, and Neta Void. We lived together in a beautiful storied old run down house. We went through hard times, things I can't believe we made it through. We struggled, we scraped, we scrapped. Neta kept a smile moving along the whole way.

No one in my life has ever advocated for or believed in me or understood me as much as Neta Void. He loved me and my music, even when I didn't. I hadn't put anything out for ages, trapped in my stoic perfectionist prison, trying to make something "perfect" before I released music again.

Neta said "Fuck that, lets make something together. We could make it a memorial album for Ice."
(Ice, my cat, had passed a couple days before my birthday in October and it was hitting me hard.)

I agreed. This is the outcome. Neta passed away on October 17th at 24 years old in his bedroom. Rest in Peace to a radical, creative, beautiful, sexy, hilarious, genuine, and traumatized soul.

Please love your friends and never use alone.

Tracks 1-3 are originals of mine that Neta loved and always wanted to hear me play when we played music together.

Track 4 is a song I wrote about life after Neta.

Track 5 is a cover of Samantha Dorsett's "All Punks Got." Before he died, Neta wanted to record a cover of this song with me. It meant a lot to both of us. The night before he passed, we had a small show at the house, and he got up and sang that song loud and proud with me. I'll remember it forever.

Tracks 6-8 and 11 were songs that Neta recorded for our split album before he died. They are beautiful and heart wrenching and true. Something about "Heavenly" hits so much different now.

Tracks 9 and 10 were recorded in 2018 by Neta and discovered on his laptop. Me and his partner decided to include them, as they're beautiful and heartbreaking and let you know what kind of amazing fucking person he was.

This is also my return to releasing music. It's been awhile. Sorry that I've been away.
